A stylish new addition to Plaza Del Amo with a modern and inviting atmosphere. The interior is beautifully designed, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. While it’s a Japanese restaurant, the menu is designed to appeal to a wide range of tastes rather than focusing only on traditional Japanese cuisine. There’s a good variety of hand rolls, skewers, and other dishes that are approachable and enjoyable for everyone. Since it’s still a newly opened restaurant, service isn’t perfect yet, but the staff are friendly, hardworking, and genuinely doing their best. You can tell they’re committed to improving, and I think this place has a lot of potential. Looking forward to coming back!

There are few other dining experiences that are as catered to solo diners as a handroll bar. In addition to tables, counter seating is available. A tablet is also provided that you can use to order. I’m a sucker for a good piece of tuna, and there were many tuna options available. Ironically, I enjoyed the more affordable options more than I did the pricier ones. 

The fish, for the most part, was fresh and good quality. For my 3 piece handroll set, I got the bluefin tuna, yellowtail, and unagi. Each of these rolls was very good. I would have liked maybe a little more glaze on the unagi. I also got a couple of the premium handrolls, both of which had their own issues. I thought that the blue crab smelled a little fishy. I liked the bit of yuzu with it because it was interesting and different, but this was also my least favorite blue crab handroll I’ve ever had. I didn’t think the crab tasted very fresh. I’m also used to having it with warm rice, and the rice in this handroll was cold. The negitoro was would have been fine except that one side of the nori was a little wet and soggy. I had mixed feelings about the Bluefin Tuna Tasting platter. Although the tuna quality was very goo

First time coming here and I can say the quality of everything here is really good!! I like that they have the combo set and let you choose the rolls you want. Usually other places have a set list that you cannot change so I appreciate that. It also comes with a soup and a signature dipping sauce which I also like! I got full so I didn’t finish a they were so kind enough to remake it and pack it to go so the paper wouldn’t get soggy and they were super nice about it. I definitely recommend this place. The cooks were the star of the show! Keep in mind, this is cash only! Will def come me back

The rolls are so tasty and normal size - saw someone post something about being small . They aren’t! Almost didn’t try it bc of that but I’m glad I did. Get the truffle soy for your sauce side - it’s delish! And the lunch special is such a great deal! 3 or 5 rolls and edamame and miso and green tea … you can’t go wrong / we got the crispy rice spicy salmon appetizer to try and it didn’t disappoint either as well as the blue crab baked roll which was so yummy. We sat outside but there’s also indoor seating - get ready to jam out to the hits of the 90’s and 2000’s as you enjoy your food From the 3 roll special - My favorite roll was the crunchy tuna w the spicy salmon coming in a close second! I hope this place does great bc I’ll keep coming back!
